mvt iii: Rush Hour -
Representing the daily train commute, this movement contains sounds and rhythms that evoke images of engines – a layering of rhythmic grooves until a more frustrated, atonal climatic ending takes over.
mvt iv: 30,000 Reflections -
Named after a water feature in the grounds of Dublin Castle where I spent a quiet reflective moment, this movement begins with a slow introduction, moving to a faster tempo with a light, yet determined mood.
