Open Tower was composed in one short sitting, inspired by improvisations at the base of an abandoned cooling tower - the first big space played in after the 2020/2021 lockdowns. An incredible delay and reverb. A feeling of freedom & enjoyment in sound.

Can experiment with playing in an echo space, or with artificial delay & reverb.

Given the repeated nature of the work (most individual bars repeated once), this could also be a work for teacher & student, or duo partners, to explore blending of sound/tone, dividing up the music as one bar echoes between the two players.
